These tasks are now CLOSED for ON-TIME submissions, but you can still submit late! Rewards for late submissions will be forthcoming. Thanks to everyone who took part!
Also important! Teams who recruit a new member will receive a new accessory voucher for their guild shortly, so don't rush and buy an accessory if it's one you can get for free.

General Briefing
DUNGEON DEADLINE: November 27th, 11:59 PM GMT-0
IMPORTANT NOTE Stats have returned in the general tasks. You do NOT, I repeat NOT need have any stat values to complete the tasks. They're included only as guidelines. For example, when it says "an Agility stat of 2 is needed to place traps safely," that doesn't mean a very slow character can't try to place traps, just that they wouldn't be safe; they'd risk setting them off, and they should try to take precautions or find some way to compensate. Thanks.
Hey everyone, Durkasao here. I'm really happy to be able to present you with our first first update in entirely too long. I want to extend a personal apology for these tasks coming out especially late, after our story presentation, since I took responsibility for writing these up. I and everyone else will try our best not to let such a long delay happen again.
When we made plans for this update, we were originally thinking of a set of tasks to introduce Geoda the zone, since we didn't have the resources ready to fully introduce Geoda the city, where Mission 2 proper will take place. However, we realized that there was a lot of groundwork that needed to be put into place for Geoda, so the presentation and these tasks kind of grew to significant size - which of course delayed us even more. You can consider this update to be a sort of "Mission 2 - prelude" if you like; some threads that are brought up here will be very, very important in the future.
We're introducing two mechanics with this update. First, there are two Bonus tasks available in this update that are Merit- or Strike-Dependent. For a team to take one of these tasks, they either need to have the requisite number of Merits and/or Strikes. We're starting small with this, but we should be expanding our use of this mechanic in future events.
The second mechanic is Recruitment. One of the general tasks, which should be very easy for everyone to participate in, offers the Recruitment Slip as a reward. Unfortunately we still need to set this up on the Atlas, so it will be a little while before you can make your new recruit official. We'll also have app updates out shortly as well. Please note that the Recruitment Slip is good for Pokemon up to Stage 1, with no type restrictions.
Speaking of the Atlas, I want to address the complete debacle that is the Dungeon 1 Atlas submissions. We dropped the ball and never finished checking them. The reason was pretty simple: checking logbooks is incredibly, mindnumbingly boring and time-consuming, and with the personal needs and difficulties our admins have had over the past year, they fell by the wayside. Of course, we could have asked more people to help check logbooks. But we realized that checking every logbook for mistakes or cheating was kind of pointless. It demonstrated a lack of trust of our members on our part, and anyway, mistakes in event submissions were very rare.
We'll be rectifying the missing star coin rewards on the Atlas shortly, and we'll also be switching to auto-accepting submissions and allowing people to tally their own merits and strikes. This will take some time to set up, so you'll have to wait before posting submissions for the newest event to the Atlas. Until then, feel free to treat any rewards you receive from this event as though you already have them.
Logbook submission IS ENABLED.
I think that's all for announcements. I want to thank everyone who's stuck by us, and apologize again for our inactivity. I know it's really hurt a lot of people's feelings, and we want to work to make up for that as much as we can. We'll be giving the wiki some much-needed love, and hopefully putting out a little supplemental material before we get into the meat of M2 in a few months. So please stay tuned
And let's roll the credits ...
